City auditor in Eugene a must

In the September 14, 2017, issue of the Register-Guard, Eugene resident Dennis Casady writes in a letter:

As a life-long Eugene resident, I’ve watched a long parade of bad decisions made by city government, but my big disappointment is the money wasted in planning a new City Hall.

Several years ago, $2 million dollars was spent in planning a new City Hall at the site of the county butterfly parking structure and taking Ada Lee’s “Rock ’n’ Rodeo” property. Then the City decided to tear down City Hall and rebuild on the same site. Now they want to spend more money to swap/purchase the butterfly parking structure, tear it down and spend even more money to design another new City Hall. They have no focus. …
